As part of the walkways project, we were lucky to be invited along to plant trees. Other schools included Te Mata Primary and some borders from Napier Boys High.

Inquiry

It has been a lot of fun learning about the 1900s with our buddies, Room 1. We have found out some interesting things. 

Te Reo

We have been learning about Matariki....watch how we made our landscape art.

Kapa Haka

The students have been enjoying learning how to greet others and say how we are feeling.

The Church

The 'church' which we use for so many art pieces was looking absolutely stunning this evening...I feel another artwork coming on.

Batons Up

The new batons are a big hit at school. Since these photos, there have been some really interesting designs going up.

The students are responsible for putting them away before the bell goes....there are 500 batons!

Earthquake Drill

I sprung an earthquake drill on the students today to see how quick they would react. 



Hopefully practising them is all we need to do.....well done Room 8.

Autumn Gold

Every once in a while, when the conditions are right, we get the chance to play amongst the amazing leaves of gold from the sun-shelter tree.
